Emraan to visit theatres for audience reaction

Emraan Hashmi is all charged about his next, Dibakar Banerjee’s Shanghai, produced by PVR Pictures. The film has sparked off a strong buzz and the actor is curious to know how it will fare at the box office. Emi feels feels that the common man is the best judge of a film and is keen on gauging audience reactions.
A source said, “Emraan is currently in Singapore.But the actor is especially flying down to Mumbai for a day to visit a few theatres and watch the film with fans. He wants to know their reaction to his performance and to the film.”
From all the roles that he has played till date, this one is very different and that’s why he is keen to visit the theatres. He is sure that his performance in Shanghai will only increase his fan following. The source added, “He also plans to interact with his fans to know what they feel about his acting as he feels it will help him better his skills as an actor.”
Emraan confirms, “I am flying down to Mumbai early after our screening in Singapore. I want to go to single screens and multiplexes to see the reactions of the people and my fans. I want to also see how two completely diverse audiences react to Shanghai.”
The gala premiere of Shanghai will be held in Singapore today.
